What are the qualifications to become a Bike Doctor Mobile franchisee? Do I need to be a bike mechanic?
Bike Doctor Mobile franchise candidates need to be passionate about bikes and cycling, and dedicated to providing great service. Previous industry experience is a plus. We are open to working with either mechanic owner-operators or franchise owners who partner with a mechanic to run the daily operations. Franchise owners must go through Barnett Bicycle School or a similar program if intending to provide mechanic service themselves.

Bike Doctor Mobile start up costs are a fraction of what you’d expect for a traditional brick and mortar business. Your business will largely be operated out of our custom service vans. We’ve developed economical options to outfit the vans as mobile workshops and offices, allowing you to conduct repairs, maintenance and transactions on-site- Franchise Partners have options in terms of cost and customization of their branded vehicle. Overhead and inventory are minimal. We’ve made every effort to minimize start up expenses and provide resources for financing and leasing when possible.
Bike Doctor Mobile franchise requires a total investment of between $86K – $133K. Most importantly, Bike Doctor Mobile’s ongoing fees are far less than industry norms. With lower fees each month, you’ll be that much closer to achieve your business goals! Bike Doctor Mobile franchisees will be connected with funding resources, but should be prepared to provide some percentage of the start up costs as “skin in the game”- their own liquid capital.
